This tofu kit contains a plastic box with holes (for 300g of tofu), a top lid with eliptical handle and a 100% cotton muslin. Clean only with water and a gentle dishwasher liquid. It does not accumulate bacteria. You can also wash it in the dishwasher. This kit allows you to prepare homemade tofu at low cost using only soy milk and coagulator. Only add the coagulator to the hot milk and wait 15 to 20 minutes. When it becomes solid, cover the box with the muslin and pour in the mixture. Let the water drain well through the box holes and press gently using the top lid. If you desire soft tofu - perfect for desserts - press gently; for firmer tofu, press harder and longer. For flavoured tofu you can add spices or herbs, algae and even seeds.
You can use 4 spoons of lemon juice or vinegar as coagulator, as well as a small portion of nigari, magnesium chloride or other tofu coagulator.
